The Department of Biochemistry, University of Delhi South Campus, has announced applications for two (02) positions of Project Technical Support-III. This recruitment is for the ICMR-funded project titled “Bacteriophage and one-health approach tackling AMR infections in humans, animals, and environment” under the supervision of Prof. Urmi Bajpai.
Job Overview
Designation: Project Technical Support-III (02 posts)
Research Area: Bacteriophage and one-health approach tackling Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) infections in humans, animals, and the environment.
Location: Department of Biochemistry, University of Delhi South Campus, New Delhi-110021, India.
Eligibility & Qualification
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related subjects in biological sciences.
- First-class marks (60% and above) in all degree examinations.
Desirable Qualification:
- Good research experience in microbiology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and bacterial and bacteriophage characterisation.
- Willingness to travel to multicentric sites for sample collection.
- Research experience demonstrated through publications, project experience, or relevant technical expertise.
- Qualification in national-level examinations such as NET/GATE.
Job Description
Selected candidates will work on the ICMR-funded research project. The role involves laboratory research, data analysis, and travel to multicentric sites for sample collection. This position is purely temporary, subject to satisfactory performance, and will terminate automatically without notice or compensation upon the termination of the research scheme. The project duration is scheduled until December 2027.
