The selected candidate will work on an AI-based project aimed at developing a tobacco cessation precision tool. The study focuses on co-developing an AI-based conversational interface using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)-enabled Large Language Models (LLM) and multilingual speech recognition to enhance tobacco cessation services at Tobacco Cessation Clinics (TCCs).

Applicants must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees.
- For Engineering / IT / CS disciplines: A Four-Year Graduate Degree is required.
Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Develop and fine-tune AI-driven conversational systems using Large Language Models (LLMs) as part of a team.
- Implement and evaluate Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches to improve the accuracy, relevance, and personalization of AI-generated responses as part of a team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align AI development with user-centered goals and public health outcomes.
- Contribute to project documentation, progress reports, and peer-reviewed publications.
Salary and Contract Details
- Pay Details: Consolidated Salary of Rs. 56,000 + HRA (if applicable) per month.
- Duration: The position is temporary for a period of 1 year and is tenable only for the duration of the project.
