Eligibility / Qualification
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry / Physics / Material Science / BioTechnology / Bioinformatics or related disciplines; OR
- M.Tech / M.E in Chemical / Biochemical / Biotechnology Engg. / Materials / Nanotechnology or equivalent degrees.
- Candidates having experience in Physical & Chemical analysis, AI (coding), and instrumentation.
Age Limit:
Preferably not more than 35 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.
Fellowship / Remuneration
- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA: For scholars selected through CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE, OR a selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies and institutions.
- Rs. 25,000/- + HRA: For others who do not fall under the above category.
Job Description
Selected Project Associates will carry out research under the CSR grant project focused on applying AI algorithms and coding to Material Science and Characterization at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Selected candidates are also eligible to apply for the regular Ph.D. program at Panjab University, Chandigarh, provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria.
