Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering. This temporary position is for an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) sponsored project under the AICTE-RPS (2025) Scheme.

Eligibility/Qualification

• Qualifications: ME/MTech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and allied streams (or equivalent).
• Alternative Qualification: Candidates with only a BE/BTech degree must possess a valid GATE score.

Job Description & Project Details

• Project Title: Development and Lab-to-Market Deployment of 30 kW SiC MOSFETbased Multilevel 3-phase PFC Rectifier for Industry Applications
• Sponsor: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under AICTE-RPS (2025) Scheme
• Duration: 36 (Thirty-Six) Months
• Stipend: INR 40,330.00 per month (including HRA as per DST norms)
