• Fellowship: Rs. 35,000/month for 2 Years and Rs. 40,000 from 3rd year

Eligibility / Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Food Biotechnology or any allied discipline (e.g., Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or Biochemical Engineering). Demonstrated hands-on experience or strong conceptual understanding of analytical instrumentation, particularly ICP-MS or ICP-OES. Good understanding of experimental design, data interpretation, and analytical validation techniques.
• Additional Desirable Qualifications: Prior research experience involving elemental or trace metal analysis. Exposure to sample preparation and method optimization for biological or chemical matrices. Publications in peer-reviewed journals will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and technical documentation.

Job Description

The selected Junior Research Fellow will work on the research project titled “Studies on comparative elemental analysis in Production of Cultured Meat/ Callus of Rare Plants / Hydroponically Cultivated Herbs” under the principal investigatorship of Prof. U.S. Annapure. The selected candidate will be entitled to register for a Ph.D. as per the ICT norms under the guidance of Prof. U.S. Annapure.

Selection will be based on an interview conducted by a committee. The date and time of the interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates only by email. No TA/DA will be provided to appear for the interview.
