Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on an ANRF-New Delhi funded project in the Department of Physics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. This is a temporary position co-terminus with the project, which is sanctioned for a period of three years.

Fellowship
Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA (as per university rules)
Eligibility/Qualification
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. degree in Physics with 55% marks and above.
- Must have qualified NET/GATE examination.
Desirable Qualification:
- Research experience in material science or chalcogenide-polymer composites will be preferred.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit is 28 years. A relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for SC/ST, female, and physically challenged candidates, and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates. All other things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per Government of India (G.O.I.) rules.
Job Description
The selected candidate will carry out research work under the project titled “Development and Characterization of Functional Chalcogenide-Polymer Composites for Flexible and Wearable Electronics”. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration of three years. No TA/DA will be paid if called for an interview.
