Eligibility / Qualification
- Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences / Environmental Tech / Botany / Agriculture / Life Sciences or equivalent degree with first class in graduate and post-graduate examinations.
- Desirable Skills: Preference will be given to candidates having NET/GATE with research experience.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 1st April 2026.
- Additional Criteria: The candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Job Description
The selected candidate will work on the CST, U.P. sponsored research project titled “Study of multi-plant cultivation and organic amendments on phytoremediation of overburden coal mine soil of Sonbhadra District of Uttar Pradesh”. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, governed by the funding agency CST U.P. guidelines and service conditions of BHU, Varanasi.
Assistance / Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- fixed per month for the first and second year, and Rs. 28,000/- fixed per month for the third year as per CST UP guidelines.
Tenure of Appointment: 3 years (Initially made for one year and further extended annually based on performance).
