Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Project Assistant to work on an ANRF-PAIR sponsored research project titled “Dynamic research ecosystem for advanced materials (DREAMS)”.

- Duration: 3.0 years or till the completion of the project (whichever is earlier; purely temporary)
- Emoluments: As per ANRF rules
Eligibility / Qualification
- First Class (6.5 CGPA out of 10) or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in Master’s or equivalent degree in Chemistry / Materials Science.
- For JRF: Qualified NET or GATE examination.
- For Project Assistant: Candidates without NET/GATE qualifications may be considered.
Job Description
The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Tharamani C.N. on the project focusing on sustainable energy conversion and storage systems (electrocatalysis/batteries). Performance will be reviewed periodically. The selected candidate may also be considered for Ph.D. admissions at a later stage as per Institute rules.
