Eligibility & Qualification
Candidates applying for the post must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree (M.Tech.) or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Petroleum Technology/Engineering.
- National Level Exam: Must be selected through a process described by any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- Selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISER, etc.
- Preference: Preference will be given to candidates having relevant research experience in biotechnology.
Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for the isolation and characterization of indigenous urease-producing bacteria (UPB) and its application in the MICP (Microbially Induced Calcite Precipitation) process.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Pay: Rs. 37,000 per month
- HRA: Rs. 6,660 per month
- Medical: No
- Total Monthly Amount: Rs. 43,660
- Accommodation: No campus accommodation will be available for the selected candidates.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the test and interview.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the offline interview. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email on 12th October 2026 (Monday).
