Summary

IIT Delhi is inviting applications for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Assistant (Tech) to work on a sponsored research project titled “Study, Design and Analysis of Bayesian Machine Learning-based Solutions for 6G Wireless Systems” funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation, Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB).

Research Area

6G Wireless Systems, Bayesian Machine Learning, AI/ML, Electrical Engineering, and Wireless Communication Research.

Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India.

Eligibility/Qualification

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Pay: Rs. 37,000/- p.m. plus HRA @ 27%
  • Qualifications:
    • 1st class Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in EE / ECE / CSE (includes integrated postgraduate degrees as well).
    • Good programming skills in MATLAB / Python.
    • GATE qualification (may be relaxed for CFTI graduates with a CGPA of more than 8.000 / 80% aggregate marks).

2. Project Assistant (Tech)

  • Pay: Rs. 39,420 – 40,600 – 41,820 – 43,070 – 44,360 – 45,590 – 47,060 – 48,470 – 49,920 – 51,420/- p.m. plus HRA @ 27%
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in EE / ECE / CSE.
    • At least one year of research experience in AI/ML or Wireless Communication research.
    • Good programming skills in MATLAB / Python.

Job Description

The selected candidates will work on the research project “Study, Design and Analysis of Bayesian Machine Learning-based Solutions for 6G Wireless Systems” (Project No. RM00204G) under Principal Investigator Prof. Anupama Rajoriya at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi. The appointments are on a contractual basis, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project.
