Summary

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi invites applications from Indian nationals for a temporary project appointment as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF). The position is on a contractual basis with consolidated pay, subject to periodic performance review and renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project.

Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Physics (with focus/desirable experience in photonics integrated circuits or optical communication).

Eligibility / Qualification

  • 1st class B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Physics with NET/GATE qualification; OR
  • 1st class M.Sc. in Physics with NET/GATE qualification.
  • Desirable Experience: Experience with photonics integrated circuits or optical communication.
  • NET/GATE Relaxation: The requirement of NET/GATE examination may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
  • Category Relaxation: A 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates.

Job Description

The selected candidate will work as a Junior Research Fellow under project number RM00198N under Principal Investigator Prof. Awanish Pandey. The appointment offers a consolidated pay of Rs. 37,000/- per month plus 27% HRA.
