Job Summary
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati invites applications from Indian nationals for the position of Field Worker purely on a contract basis under the “Bioacoustics Workshop” project led by Principal Investigator Dr. Robin V. Vijayan.

Eligibility / Qualification
- Essential Qualification: Graduate degree.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- At least 60% or equivalent grade in Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience conducting fieldwork for over one year.
- Candidates with a valid 4-wheeler driving license and experience.
- Bird handling experience with mist-netting and wild birds.
- Experience with recording bird song and analysis.
- Experience in analysis in Raven Pro is desirable.
- Age Limit: Not more than 50 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.
- Fellowship: INR 18,000 + 9% HRA per month.
- Tenure: The initial offer will be for six months and renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
