Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for two (02) temporary positions of Project Assistant under an externally funded research project sponsored by ANRF and DBT.

Eligibility / Qualification
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (as prescribed by the funding agency).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Post 01: Experience in standard molecular/microbial techniques and experience with analyzing bacterial genomic data (WGS, RNAseq, etc.).
- Post 02: Experience in programming in Python, SQL, R; experience with analyzing bacterial genomic data (WGS, RNAseq, ChIP-Seq, etc.); and experience with maintaining Linux-based computer servers.
Age Limit:
- 50 years (preferably under 35 years).
Job Description
Selected candidates will work on the research project funded by ANRF and DBT. The appointment is purely temporary and on a contract basis.
- Fellowship Amount: Rs. 27,000 + HRA per month.
- Tenure: 3 years (Initial appointment for 6 months, extendable based on satisfactory performance).
- Tentative Joining Date: 15-11-2026.
