Eligibility / Qualification

  • For ITI Trades (Sr. No. 1 to 12): Passed ITI in the concerned trade.
  • For Diploma Trades (Sr. No. 13 to 15): Passed Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
  • For Graduate Degree Trades (Sr. No. 16 to 18): Passed Graduate Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Candidates must have passed the relevant examination during the last 3 years.
    • Candidates must not have availed Apprenticeship Training previously in any institution.
    • Registration on the respective official Apprenticeship Portal is mandatory.

Job Description

Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, under the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961. Received applications will be screened based on criteria fixed by the Institute. Shortlisted candidates who meet the screening standards will be called for an interview via speed post or email.

How to Apply

  1. Register on the designated Apprenticeship Portal:
    • ITI candidates (Sr. No. 1 to 12): Register on the NAPS Portal.
    • Diploma & Degree candidates (Sr. No. 13 to 18): Register on the BOAT / NATS Portal.
  2. Download the prescribed application form from the official CSIR-CSMCRI website or obtain it in person from the Institute’s Recruitment Cell during office hours.
  3. Fill out the application form in block letters in your own handwriting. Ensure full postal address, valid email ID, and mobile number are clearly mentioned.
  4. Attach self-attested copies of the following mandatory documents:
    • SSC Marksheet (if applicable)
    • HSC Marksheet (if applicable)
    • ITI / Diploma / Degree Certificate & Marksheets
    • Proof of date of birth
    • Aadhar Card
    • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable
    • Printout of the profile registration completed on the Apprenticeship Portal
    • Recent self-attested passport-size photograph affixed on the application form
  5. Submit the completed application form along with enclosures to the Recruitment Cell of the Institute on or before the closing date.
