All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar is inviting applications in the prescribed format for various purely temporary contractual positions under an ICMR-funded research project titled “Omission of Repeat Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor in T1 Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer: A Multi-center, Open-label, Randomized Controlled Non-Inferiority Trial” in the Department of Urology.

Eligibility / Qualification

1. Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate (PG) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology, including integrated PG degrees.
Desirable Qualification: P.G Degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology preferably with at least 1-year experience of working in health sector, ICMR, AIIMS etc. or in the Scientific Dept. / Organizations with experience in clinical research project management and patient handling.
Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- per month plus HRA @20% (consolidated per month)
Tenure: 11 Months (may be extended with satisfactory performance and project extension)

2. Project Technical Support-III

Essential Qualification: Three-year graduate degree in Life Sciences subject + three years post qualification experience OR PG in Life Sciences subject.
Desirable Qualification: Working experience in Clinical research involving human participants.
Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- per month plus HRA @20% (consolidated per month)
Tenure: 11 Months (may be extended with satisfactory performance and project extension)

3. Project Technical Support-II

Essential Qualification: 12th in science + Diploma (MLT/ DMLT or Equivalent) + 5 years’ experience in relevant subject/field OR 3-years Graduate degree in relevant subject/field + 2 years’ experience.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in data management with good computer knowledge in MS office.
Maximum Age Limit: 30 Years
Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- per month plus HRA @20% (consolidated per month)
Tenure: 11 Months (may be extended with satisfactory performance and project extension)

Job Description

The selected candidates will work on the ICMR-funded clinical trial project under Principal Investigator Dr. Kalandi Barik (Assistant Professor) and Co-Principal Investigator Dr. Swarnendu Mandal (Associate Professor), Department of Urology, AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The appointments are purely temporary and contractual in nature.
