BRIC-Institute of Life Sciences (BRIC-ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, has invited applications from eligible Indian Nationals to participate in a walk-in-interview for Project Technical Support-II and Project Technical Support-III positions sanctioned under an ICMR-funded research project.

Designation

  • Project Technical Support – II (01 Position)
  • Project Technical Support – III (01 Position)

Research Area

The positions are under the ICMR-funded project titled: “Interplay of Malarial PAMPs and DAMPs – Regulatory Mechanisms and their Physiological Relevance, Association with Disease Severity and Translational Potential” led by Principal Investigator Dr. V. Arun Nagaraj.

Location

BRIC-Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

Eligibility/Qualification

1. Project Technical Support – II

  • Qualification: Candidates with MLT/DMLT or B.Sc degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, or other allied sciences.
  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years as of 25.11.2026.
  • Fellowship: Rs. 20,000/- + @20% HRA = Rs. 24,000/- per month.

2. Project Technical Support – III

  • Qualification: Candidates with M.Sc degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, or other allied sciences. Previous research experience is preferable.
  • Age Limit: Up to 35 years as of 25.11.2026.
  • Fellowship: Rs. 28,000/- + @20% HRA = Rs. 33,600/- per month.

Note: Age relaxation will be provided as per the rules of the Government of India.

Job Description

Selected candidates will work on an ICMR-sponsored research project focusing on malaria mechanisms under Dr. V. Arun Nagaraj. The total duration of the project is 15 months. Candidates will perform research activities related to the project goals at BRIC-ILS, Bhubaneswar.
