Centre for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (South Campus, Block-II, Sec-25), Panjab University, Chandigarh – 160014, India.

Eligibility/Qualification

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree: M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology / Renewable Energy / Physics / Chemistry / Materials Science with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically & Visually handicapped) or an equivalent grade from an Indian University or accredited foreign University.
  • NET Requirement: Candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR.
  • Ph.D. Exemption: Candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2009, are exempted from the NET requirement.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree in the Faculty of Science or Faculty of Engineering with demonstrated research experience in Renewable Energy, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, or Materials Science, supported by research publications in peer-reviewed journals/patents.

Job Description

The selected candidate will serve as a Guest Faculty on a lecture basis for the academic session 2026-27.

  • Honorarium: Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, up to a maximum limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
  • Condition: The candidate must submit an undertaking stating that they will not draw any fellowship, stipend, or financial assistance from any agency while teaching as a Guest Faculty at the Centre.
  • Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The exact date and time will be communicated via email or phone call. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
