Eligibility / Qualification
- Minimum Qualification: Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Agricultural / Geomatics Engineering AND Two-Year Master’s degree in Civil / Agricultural and allied Engineering disciplines with specialization in Hydrology / Hydraulics / Water Resources / Irrigation Water Management / Irrigation and Drainage Engineering or Equivalent.
- Selection Criteria: Candidates must have passed GATE OR clear the National Level selection process conducted by IIT Madras specific to this announcement.
- Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS), Field Hydrology, measurements, and hydrologic modelling (Mike+, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
Job Description
The selected Junior Research Fellows will work under the coordination of Prof. Balaji Narasimhan in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Madras.
