Eligibility / Qualification
- Qualifications as per JRF(GATE) plus 2 years of research experience in the area for the development of deep learning algorithms for real-time computer vision applications.
- JRF(GATE) Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in basic science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DoS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR etc.
Job Description
The selected candidate will work on the research project titled “Interval Type2 Fuzzy Systems Coupled Compact Single Image Dehazing Network Based Approach for Image Enhancement” at the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, IIT Guwahati. The appointment is for a duration of 11 months with a total monthly remuneration of Rs. 51,650.00 (inclusive of Pay of Rs. 42,000.00, HRA of Rs. 8,400.00, and Medical of Rs. 1,250.00).
Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. The online interview via Zoom is scheduled for 29 October 2026 (Thursday) at 03:30 PM.
