Summary: Pondicherry University has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of one Project Associate – I position under the AICTE-RPS funded research project at the Centre for Nanoscience and Technology.

  • Issuing Authority: Prof. S. Kannan, Professor, Centre for Nanoscience and Technology, Pondicherry University
  • Duration: 3 Years (Initially for one year and extendable up to another Two Years); the position is co-terminus with the project.
  • Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA per AICTE norms.

Research Area

Title of the Project: 3D printing of rare earth doped zirconia toughened alumina reinforced polyamide and polyetheretherketone composites through Fused Deposition Modelling for hard tissue

Eligibility / Qualification

  • B.E. or B.Tech. in Materials Science / Mechanical / Chemical / Mechatronics / Electronics / Nanoscience and Technology / Metallurgical Engineering. (M.E. or M.Tech. in the above disciplines is preferable).
  • OR M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Materials Science / Nanoscience and Technology.
  • Desirable: Research experience in 3D printing and Synthesis & characterization of Ceramic materials.

Job Description

The selected candidate will work on the AICTE-RPS funded research project focusing on 3D printing of rare earth doped zirconia toughened alumina reinforced polyamide and polyetheretherketone composites through Fused Deposition Modelling. Selected candidates should be ready to join the project immediately. Shortlisted applicants will be informed by email only and invited for an interview either online or offline. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview offline.
