Eligibility/Qualification
- Three years B.Sc./graduate degree with three years of experience OR M.Sc./PG degree with a minimum of 55% marks in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or allied fields.
- Candidates with UGC-NET, GATE, or other national entrance tests conducted by the Government of India will be preferred.
- Age Limit: 35 years (with other relaxations as per ICMR and Panjab University norms).
Job Description
The selected candidate will work on a temporary research project titled “Machine Learning and AI-Guided Design and Validation of Cost-Effective Next-Generation Antimicrobial Peptides Against Multidrug Resistant Pathogens.” Desirable experience includes prior knowledge of molecular modelling, software, biomolecular simulations, various microbiology, biochemical and spectrophotometric assays, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques.
Emoluments/Fellowship: Rs. 28,000 + 5600 (20% HRA) per month.
Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, extendable up to 2 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
