Research Area
- Project No. FTC090601: High-productivity membrane design for water desalination and purification that produces mineral-balanced water with high water recovery.
- Project No. FTT060604: Electro-deionization system to produce electrolyser grade ultrapure water for hydrogen generation.
Location
CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India.
Eligibility / Qualification
- Project Associate-I (Project No. FTC090601): M.Sc. in Chemistry / Chemical Science from a recognized university.
- Project Assistant-II (Project No. FTC090601): 3-Year Diploma in Engineering/Technology OR B.Sc. in Chemistry / Chemical Science / Physics / Physical Science from a recognized university.
- Project Associate-I (Project No. FTT060604): B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical / Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering or Chemical Technology from a recognized university.
Job Description
Selected candidates will work on CSIR-sponsored research projects at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration.

General Terms & Conditions
- HRA is payable as per extant Government of India rules applicable to CSIR employees.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Women candidates as per GoI/CSIR instructions.
- Total engagement of project staff across CSIR laboratories shall not exceed 6 years in total.
- Final semester/year students awaiting results are not eligible.
