Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on an ANRF-sponsored research project in the Department of Ceramic Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi.
Job Summary
The selected candidate will work on the project titled “Development of Superior Oxide-ion Electrolytes Based on Utilization of Relaxor-type High Dielectric Materials for Intermediate Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (IT-SOFC) as Automotive Auxiliary Power Units and Distributed Power Plants” under the supervision of Dr. Preetam Singh. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, which has a total tenure of three years.

Eligibility / Qualification
Essential Qualifications:
- First class or equivalent CGPA in M.Sc. or M.Tech in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Candidates who have qualified GATE or CSIR-UGC NET with a good score will be preferred.
Age Limit:
- The upper age limit is 28 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per Government of India (GoI) rules.
- All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GoI rules.
