Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar invites applications for a temporary position of Program Associate-I (Grants Management) in the Research and Development department. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic grants management team supporting campus research initiatives under the supervision of Prof. Vimal Mishra.

Job Details

  • Designation: Program Associate-I (Grants Management)

  • Research Area / Department: Research and Development (R&D)
  • Location: IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India
  • Consolidated Monthly Remuneration: ₹45,000/- to ₹80,000/- per month (Based on the experience of the selected candidate)
  • Duration of Appointment: 1 year (Renewal will be based on the performance of the selected candidate)

Eligibility / Qualification

Essential Qualification & Experience:

  • B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Sc. / M.C.A. / LLM. / CA / CMA / CS / MBA / Professional qualification or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
  • OR
  • B.C.A. / B.Sc. / B.A. / B.Com. / B.B.A. / LLB. or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline with a minimum of 04 years of post-qualification experience.

Academic Percentage Requirements:

  • A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade from graduation onwards.
  • A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.

Desirable Qualification & Experience:

  • Proven communication skills, strong time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, and a flexible approach to work.
  • The ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate information.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Description

The selected candidate will work in the grants management team to support in:

  1. Curating grant information for the R&D funding databases.
  2. Outreach to the agencies supporting campus research, as required.
  3. Dissemination of grant information via Newsletters, presentations, and other mechanisms.
  4. Content development and dissemination on grants.
  5. Undertaking any other pertinent duties that may be required from time to time.
